Bellcranks

What's a bellcrank? Something that transfers motion in one direction to another direction.  I enjoy making the metal bits, here are a few more pieces I made recently.

Rudder bellcrank brackets.  These are fabricated from aluminum angle and attach the rudder bellcrank to the tail.  I'm going to tumble and anodize them to get the finish nicer.

The rudder stop is made out of 1/8" 2024-T3 aluminum to keep the rudder form over traveling.  It is made oversized then trimmed once installed on the aircraft.

The aileron bellcranks are assembled from two halves and a flanged bearing.  Six solid rivets are used to sandwich the whole assembly together.

While I was making metal bits, I decided to make these landing gear door brackets.  These will also get tumbled and anodized.
